BRIGGS ROOFING SWEEPSTAKES TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Briggs Roofing Company will award one (1) grand prize at the end of the prize period. The prize period ends on December 29, 2023. The grand prize winner will be determined from a random drawing of all entries received during the prize period. The odds of winning the grand prize are determined by the number of entries received prior to the time of the prize drawing. Briggs Roofing Company reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify, extend, or terminate this sweepstakes without notice at any time. The winner will be notified by telephone, text, and email, within five (5) days of the drawing. The failure to respond within nine (9) days will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. The failure of the alternate winner to respond within five (5) days, will result in the forfeiture of the giveaway. 

The grand prize winner will receive Briggs Roofing Company roofing service and products, professionally installed with retail value of $16,000. Prize is not transferable. The prize must be installed at the address listed on the winning entry form. Installation must be provided by Briggs Roofing Company’s personnel or designee. All expenses not specifically provided for are the sole responsibility of the winner. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in these Official Rules, if a winner has already purchased goods or services from Briggs Roofing Company, the winner may receive (i) the cash-back payment equal to 40% of the costs of a qualifying installation, by ACH or check, pending approval of financing (not to exceed the retail value of $16,000 or 40% of the equivalent of their purchase, whichever is less), or (ii) a credit payment equal to 40% of the costs of a qualifying installation (not to exceed the retail value of $16,000 or 40% of the equivalent of their purchase, whichever is less). 

No purchase is necessary to participate in this sweepstakes. A purchase will not improve the chances of winning. A sales presentation is required for entry into this sweepstakes. Such presentation may be approximately one (1) hour in length, and the subject of the presentation will be a roof estimate. Void where prohibited by law, rule or regulation. By entering the Briggs Roofing Company Sweepstakes, the contestant hereby understands that we will provide Briggs Roofing Company product and/or service information by phone, mail or email.

Entrants may enter this sweepstakes by contacting Briggs Roofing Company, and participating in a free estimate at their home with the Owner of the home present. No more than one entry per household and/or one person is allowed. Each entry must have a unique address and phone number submitted onto form. Briggs Roofing Company is not responsible for any illegible, incorrect or late entries. The address listed on each entry form must be the address where the prize is to be installed if such entry is selected as a winner.

Sweepstakes entrants must (i) be legal residents of the United States; (ii) be 18 years of age or older, (iii) own their own home, which home is in a suitable condition (as determined by Briggs Roofing Company or its designees) for installation of the prize (including compliance with local building codes and regulations), (iv) not have any lien against the home by Briggs Roofing Company, and (v) reside in an area serviced by Briggs Roofing Company in one of the following states: Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, or Utah. Employees, officers and directors of Briggs Roofing Company, its affiliates, subsidiaries, co-branded partners, consultants, contractors, advertising, public relations, promotion, fulfillment and marketing agencies, their immediate families (and those living in their same households) are not eligible to participate in this sweepstakes. The prize winner’s house must be in suitable condition for installation (e.g., no water, mold, structural damage, etc.). Any waterproofing, remediation or other repairs necessary for proper installation (as deemed by Briggs Roofing Company or its designees in their sole discretion) must be performed at owner’s expense prior to installation. No transfers, substitution in prizes or cash will be allowed except by Briggs Roofing Company, who may substitute a prize of equal or greater value in its sole or absolute discretion. Cash value of the prize is deemed to be $400.00.

Upon installation of prize, Briggs Roofing Company will be deemed to have awarded the prize to the winner with the winner assuming full ownership and responsibility for the prize. Winner must arrange for prize installation no later than one month following the award of the prize and installation must occur and be completed within twelve months of notification.

The winner must comply with all instructions in the prize notification correspondence, including the completion of an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release, and return them within fourteen days of the date on the prize notification correspondence as well as have met all the eligibility requirements set forth within these Rules; otherwise prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. Acceptance or use of a prize constitutes permission for Briggs Roofing Company and its affiliates to use recipients name and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without compensation, unless otherwise prohibited by law.

Liability for any applicable taxes, including all federal, state, and local taxes and/or other fees that may apply to prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Any required tax reporting forms will be furnished to the Internal Revenue Service. All expenses not specifically provided for by Briggs Roofing Company in these Rules are the sole responsibility of the winner.

Entries that are lost, late, illegible or incomplete for any reason will not be eligible. Briggs Roofing Company reserves the right to modify or terminate this Sweepstakes at any time or disqualify any entry in good faith. In the event of a dispute concerning the identity of the person submitting an entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name the winning home is titled. For winner’s list, please contact Briggs Roofing Company within 30 days following the period set forth above, including a request for the winner’s names. 

By participating in this sweepstakes, participants agree to release, discharge and hold harmless Briggs Roofing Company, its affiliates, co-branded partners, subsidiaries, retailers, agencies and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents, from any damages which may arise out of participation in this sweepstakes in any way or out of the acceptance, use, misuse or possession of a prize. Acceptance of a prize may require entering a standard contract or purchase order for the goods and services to be provided, as required by state law. This sweepstakes is conducted in English (which will be given its everyday ordinary meaning).

Additional Requirements

• Winner receives up to $16,000 in roof replacement, or $400.00. 
• Winners are picked by random drawing.
• Entries must get a free estimate before December 21, 2023, to be included in the drawing.
• Entrants must be eighteen years of age and a homeowner to win. 
• Property must be located within the service area of Briggs Roofing Company, in Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, or Utah. 
• No purchase is necessary to enter.  A purchase will not improve an individual’s chance of winning.
• Winner will be required to provide proof of home ownership and execute a publicity release.
• Prize is not transferable.
• Winner is responsible for any applicable taxes.
